Convert HEIC to JPG (or PNG)

iPhone photos arrive as HEIC — a format many apps, websites and Windows PCs cannot open. Drop your .heic or .heif files here to turn them into universally supported JPG or PNG images. Conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

iPhone photos — batch supported

Example and output check

Choose a HEIC still photo, select JPG and start conversion. Open the download in the application that rejected the HEIC original; compare orientation and colors before deleting the original.

Before you use the result

HEIC decoding loads on demand. Codec profiles vary: HDR, wide-gamut color, depth data and Live Photo motion are not guaranteed to survive conversion. This is a compatibility copy, not an archival replacement.

How to use the HEIC to JPG

  1. 1 Drag your .heic or .heif photos into the box, or click to browse. Batch supported.
  2. 2 Choose the output format (JPG or PNG) and, for JPG, the quality.
  3. 3 Click "Convert" and download your images — a whole batch comes back as a zip.

Frequently asked questions

Will this preserve Live Photo motion?

No motion-preservation guarantee is made. The converter returns decoded still images; keep the original HEIC and accompanying video.

Why can a real HEIC file fail?

The bundled decoder may not support its codec profile, or the device may run out of memory. Retry one file and keep the original.
