Frequently asked questions

Can I convert SRT to VTT for YouTube?

Yes. Choose VTT and the tool adds the WebVTT header and converts comma milliseconds to the VTT dot format. YouTube also supports SRT directly, so use the format your workflow needs.

Can it fix subtitles that are out of sync?

Yes. Enter a positive number to move every cue later or a negative number to move them earlier. The shift is applied locally to every start and end time.

Does it upload my subtitles?

No. The file is read and converted in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
